Styrmand focuses even more on AMS

AMS (Advanced measurement and management systems) are systems for two-way communication and two-way information that enables the grid company to remotely read the meter values. AMS means that all households receive a "smart meter" that register power consumption and transmits information about the consumption to the grid company.

Acquisition and development of AMS will normally be projects that run over a long period, and there will normally be many parties involved. As with technology, our perception of the system and the benefits it can help to realize for the grid company is developed along the way. In that perspective it will be essential that the choices made in the early phases of the project is such that unnecessary restrictions are avoided in the later phases, and the opportunities the system is intended to provide is sustained. It is also very important to make correct choices in the early stages wrtoptimization of costs in the operational phase.

In addition to providing technical guidance and advice, Styrmand can assist with organization and supervision of work in all parts of the AMS project. Several consultants from Styrmand have considerable experience in optimizing the operation of the AMS.
